We are seeking a Material Control-Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at our Seating Division in Kitchener. This is a contract role initially for 3 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Unload trucks and courier vans in a timely manner, ensuring “hot” parts are delivered to correct personnel in a timely fashion.
· Constantly answering the phone and emails daily for stock request, then figure out where to draw the inventory from, if no stock in house - order from Bullock, if still no stock then communicate with Purchasing.
· Check PO’s in PdMain to verify correct product and current locations and to see if product needs inspection.
· Ensure that Inventory Control Team Leader is advised of any discrepancies or damaged product received.
· Ensure that QA has copies of all packing slips requiring inspection and that the product is tagged accordingly.
· Put stock away and record location on packing slips.
· Band and secure product being delivered to other plants or suppliers.
· Responsible for issuing proper and accurate paper work – shipping notices, bills of lading, packing slips and bin transfers.
· Check PO’s in PDMain to verify correct product and current locations.
· Put stock away and record location on packing slips.
· Unload and verify wood loads from Outside suppliers, and Manitou, Bullock, and Distribution as they arrive.
· Prioritize rushes and hot orders and remember all back orders as new trucks come in.
· Load waste drums from conference area and finishing onto safety platforms.
· Load drums of waste onto trailer when pick up is required.
· Stock and sort skids, return to suppliers.
· Responsible for making sure all recycling materials are dealt with and delivered to proper plant and couriers.
· Keep all work areas supplied with stock.
· Keep Biesse area supplied with work orders and deliver completed work orders to production.
· Responsible daily to keep Stesco Cardboard KanBan fully replenished at all times.
· Responsible daily to keep our full skid locations from Stratford fully replenished.
Responsible for issuing proper and accurate paper work – shipping notices, bills of lading, packing slips and bin transfers.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Grade 12
· Computer knowledge, good communication and organizational skills.
· Lift truck license required.
· Dangerous goods certificate.
