Joe's Deli is looking for a friendly, reliable and outgoing person to fill a full time Front Counter Position, daytime Tuesday to Saturday. Candidate must be pleasant, personable and courteous at all times with guests and co-workers. As well as pose excellent interpersonal skills, guest service and oral communication skills.
Good English in speech, reading and writing is necessary as you will be answering the phone and taking messages. Experience in food service and knowledge about gluten free foods is an asset.
Some duties will be but not limited to:
-assisting customers with product and providing product knowledge
-taking food orders
-assisting with deli counter sales
-making sandwiches
-helping pack gluten-free products or prep between assisting customers
-keeping a clean and tidy work area
Experience:
-customer service
-working with others
-previous food service and gluten free knowledge an asset
-good reading and writing skills in English**
Wage is dependant on experience. Increased earning potential after probation period.
