Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and excellent cooking skills, with experience in food service environments. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with health regulations
- Serve meals efficiently and courteously to customers or staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within restaurants or the food industry
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Strong skills in meal preparation and food service techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
