Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Floor Sales Manager to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven automotive sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach, support, and motivate a sales team in a fast-paced dealership environment.
As the Floor Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily showroom activity, assisting sales consultants with customers, supporting deal structure, improving closing ratios, and ensuring every customer receives a professional and positive buying experience.
Duties
- Manage and support the sales floor during daily dealership operations
- Coach, train, and motivate sales consultants to achieve individual and team targets
- Assist sales staff with customer negotiations, trade evaluations, pricing, and deal closing
- Monitor showroom traffic, internet leads, phone calls, and follow-up activity
- Ensure proper customer handling from greeting to delivery
- Work closely with the General Sales Manager and Finance Department to structure deals
- Help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Review sales performance, lead response, appointments, and closing ratios
- Support inventory presentation and vehicle merchandising
- Lead by example with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and results-driven mindset
Requirements:
- Previous automotive sales management experience is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of dealership sales processes, CRM use, financing, and customer follow-up
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- OMVIC licence is required or must be obtained
