Scrum Master:
On behalf of our retail client, Procom is searching for a Scrum Master for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Scrum Master - Job Description:
The Scrum Master / Team Coach will support Agile squads to deliver significant business outcomes within the Commercial Platform. This role involves facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving predictable delivery, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will also champion modern ways of working, including the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Scrum Master - Responsibilities:
- Facilitate squad events to drive decisions and outcomes.
- Improve delivery predictability and transparency using Agile and SAFe practices.
- Remove impediments proactively and escalate risks when necessary.
- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to drive execution.
- Support PI Planning, System Demos, and portfolio alignment.
- Leverage AI tools to improve team effectiveness and identify delivery risks.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and support complex technology initiatives.
Scrum Master - Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of Scrum Master or Agile coaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
- Proven leadership and facilitation skills.
- Experience with cross-functional technology teams.
- Experience supporting multiple teams and large-scale planning events.
- Experience with enterprise-scale delivery initiatives.
Scrum Master – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Practical understanding of AI-enabled ways of working.
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for productivity improvement.
- Interest in shaping future delivery practices through automation.
- SAFe Certification.
Scrum Master – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
