We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Key Holder/Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional service, maintaining store operations, and supporting sales growth. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance shopping experiences
- Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling, and recommending merchandise to meet their needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction processing
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and organize products to attract customer attention
- Manage store opening and closing procedures, including security checks and cash reconciliation
- Support inventory management through filing, stock replenishment, and stock organization
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with training new team members and support leadership in daily store operations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word is advantageous
- Experience operating POS systems and computer operation skills are required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to motivate team members
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, upselling strategies, and basic math for cash handling
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers and team members effectively
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
