Trimlite Mfg. Inc. owns and operates 10 locations in 4 countries that manufacture and distribute interior doors, exterior doors, door glass, and door accessories to the single family and multi-family housing markets. Machine operators are a crucial component to our day to day operations in maintaining the level of service that has made us and continues to make us so successful.
The successful applicant will be a good communicator, detail-oriented, and works well in a team environment to help us continue to provide outstanding service to our customers.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30 pm.
Position Responsibilities (Not Limited To):
- Daily forklift operation.
- Operating woodworking equipment.
- Assembling doors/door units.
- Assisting in packaging wood doors.
- Door repair.
- Ensuring completed units meet quality standards.
- Required to stand on your feet for 8 - 9 hours a day.
- Required to lift approximately 50 lbs, consistently throughout the day.
- General cleaning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent organization habits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate machinery according to safety protocols.
- Ability to read a production order and build according to specifications.
- Knowledge of doors, glass, millwork, and related building materials is an asset.
- Previous carpentry/woodworking experience is an asset.
- General use of power tools is an asset (brad nailer, framing nailer, miter saw etc).
Salary: Determined based on experience.
