What is the opportunity?
As a SR. Technical Analyst – Hardware and Virtual Operations you will play a key role in providing front line support for all hardware and the Virtual, Hyper-V virtualization. Operating as part of a rotational team you will triage complex issues, fulfill client requests and perform infrastructure changes. The ideal candidate is passionate about virtual and hardware. In this role you will support all hardware across all Operating Systems and all Hyper-V, ESXi hosts. Work closely with partner support teams and LOB to ensure that Service Level Agreement are met.
What will you do?
Triage and resolve complex issues relating to hardware and virtual environment
Identify and prioritize events, incidents and requests
Manage client expectations while meeting operational SLAs
Execute change records
Work closely with partner infrastructure teams and external vendors
Develop documentation on technical processes
Work in a fast pace environment
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
1-2 years of server hardware experience
1-2 years of virtualization experience
Server experience (Windows, Linux)
Excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to drive issues toward resolution
Strong written and verbal skills
Nice to Have
Experience with automation
Understanding the ITIL framework
