Our Superhero brand ambassadors and consultants are independent contractors who perform lice removal services in clients’ homes and at Lice Squad.com clinics where available. They are trained in Lice Squad’s specialized reduction method and certified to conduct professional lice removal services. Our Brand Ambassadors also provide products options and education to clients, head checks in schools and camps, and service in various agencies.
ABOUT LICE SQUAD
Lice Squad is a very successful head lice service Franchise business operating in most provinces and cities across Canada. We provide professional head lice removal services, products and education to families, schools, agencies, and camps. We are the founders of this service offering and have developed these programs to allow opportunities for individuals to succeed in obtaining independent revenue streams.
This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy working with children and families and are caring and empathetic – we enjoy helping people, educating them, and making a difference in their lives.
THE BRAND AMBASSADOR AND OUR OPERATIONS
Our clients across Canada request our services by either booking online or contacting us directly. This service is then dispatched out to the consultant team in that area.
The consultant receives this request for dispatch on their email or phone/device and arranges for a service appointment based on their availability. Most appointments are in clients’ homes; however, they could be in a school or a Lice Squad clinic if one is in that area.
The number of requests for service are based on demand. Certain seasons are busier than others. The position is geared towards individuals who enjoy flexible schedules and are looking for a rewarding opportunity assisting individuals while making additional income.
Consultants can become Brand Ambassadors through our wholesale product program. Like other platforms such as Avon or Mary Kay, however with the commissions being much higher. Brand Ambassadors can purchase our products at the wholesale price and then resell at the required retail price, earning the revenue on the difference.
FAQ:
· Revenue Stream – each consultant receives an hourly service fee commission based on the service provided. Travel time is also paid at an hourly rate. The consultant has the opportunity to earn significant product income through our Brand Ambassador program
· Materials and Products: Lice Squad provides a basic consultant kit which contains products for use on the customer, and a branded apron and head covering. This kit is on loan to the consultant for that purpose. The consultant can purchase products from Lice Squad at our low-cost wholesale price and in return sell these products to customers at the required retail pricing cost to earn sales income.
· The consultant is required to utilize their vehicle, purchase scrubs, and small items to provide service such as shower caps, spray bottles, etc. These are all items that are tax deductible as an independent contractor.
· Experience: Experience is always preferred but not necessary. We do provide a very thorough training program for our Mucci Method system. We always welcome hairdressers, teachers, and individuals who are involved in serving in care homes/seniors etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- identify and remove head lice, utilizing reduction combing, enzymes and other Lice Squad.com products.
- educate families on aftercare, environmental care in the home and strategies to minimize reinfestation.
- conduct group screening services for schools, camps, day cares, etc.
- may conduct educational seminars and lice committee training programs.
- schedule client appointments and process payments.
- sell and recommend Lice Squad products to clients on site.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Personal Support Worker, Nursing, Hair Stylist, Health Care Aid, Child/Health Care Worker
- experience with and/or exposure to head lice circumstances
- experience working with children and families.
Requirements:
- must be able to provide Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
- must have reliable transportation
- flexible availability - days, evenings, weekends
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- good eyesight and detail oriented
