Your future role on our team
The Senior Field Services Specialist position will include the leadership and execution of various maintenance, installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities routinely conducted by the Field Services team on high voltage equipment. The Senior Specialist will work closely with their team and the client to ensure the proper completion of a project. This position is a great fit for individuals with extensive experience in utility electrical systems. Candidates with hands on experience, who can think on their feet , and who value delivering a quality customer experience with be preferred for this role.

Complete maintenance activities on protection and control systems.
Complete maintenance activities on high voltage apparatus.
Oversee business relations and the quality of professional services.
Prepare service offers.
Monitor worksite projects being carried out at our clients' facilities.
Define safety procedures and criteria.
Draft commissioning reports.
Participate in the execution of detailed engineering projects.
Draft technical documents, calculation notes and estimates
Working in outdoor environments in remote locations.
Apply established work methods and ensure their improvement.
Oversee business relations and the quality of professional services.

Overview of certifications and job requirements
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, degree in Electrical Engineering, or other relevant education.
7-15 years of relevant experience in electrical apparatus maintenance and testing
7-15years of relevant experience in protection relay programming and testing
7-15 years of relevant experience in control system testing
Must be comfortable working in severe weather conditions (hot and cold).
Must be comfortable driving on winter roads, in remote locations, and on forest service roads.
Must be comfortable working in remote locations with limited means of communication.
Must be able to consistently lift 70lbs.
Work Schedule :
Shift based on client schedule.
Fly in / fly out rotations
Typical shifts are two weeks in, one week out.
