Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi Skilled Tradesman to join our construction team. This role requires a broad skill set across various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and more. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing multiple tasks efficiently, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to diverse projects ranging from new construction to restoration work. This position offers an opportunity for hands-on work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and utilized across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, and flooring installation
- Conduct masonry work including concrete forming, finishing, and tile laying
- Execute electrical work with experience in wiring, electrical systems, and troubleshooting
- Handle plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Apply caulking and painting techniques for finishing projects
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning as needed
- Participate in restoration projects involving structural repairs and refurbishments
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards throughout each phase of the project
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of construction methods across multiple trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and flooring installation
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and tile laying techniques
- Ability to read construction estimating documents for project scope assessment
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Knowledge of restoration processes is a plus
- Ability to adapt to various project requirements with flexibility and professionalism
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
