Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable Fitness Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for health and wellness, and the ability to motivate clients of diverse backgrounds. The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for designing personalized workout plans, demonstrating proper exercise techniques, and providing ongoing support and encouragement to clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized strength and conditioning programs
- Lead training sessions and demonstrate proper exercise techniques
- Monitor progress and adjust training plans accordingly to optimize performance
- Educate clients on injury prevention, proper nutrition, and recovery strategies
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages consistent progress
- Track client progress through documentation and regular assessments
Qualifications
- Proven experience in strength and conditioning or related fitness roles
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to clearly communicate exercise techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and injury prevention strategies
- National certification in Personal Training or equivalent (e.g., NASM, ACE or ISSA)
- Proficiency in Nutrition planning and guidance
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate individuals
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if required
- Willing to travel and First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
Pay: $40.00-$70.00 per hour
