Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Styling apprentice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an apprentice you will be required to help around the salon with daily duties such as, laundry, washing and ensuring the cleanliness of the salon. You will also have an opportunity to work under talented stylists to help you continue your journey to becoming a hair stylist.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance client experience.
- Washing clients and assisting with laundry.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience in front desk operations within a salon environment is a plus.
- Proven ability in retail sales, with a focus on upselling products and services.
- Proficiency in various hair styling techniques and trends.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills, fostering a positive atmosphere for all clients.
