Permanent Within Infant Educator Position - Little Acorns

This particular position will contribute to a team of highly skilled and passionate Preschool Educators providing care and

education for a group of up to 10 infants, with the range of 0 -18 months at our licensed centre. This position requires

someone who can work collaboratively with a team and individually with small groups. Balancing program responsibilities

and cleaning duties requires flexibility, initiative, and a self-motivated disposition. You will be required to demonstrate the

children’s learning through conversations and written documentation. You will build meaningful relationships with

coworkers, families and faculty through daily interactions.

You bring the following qualifications:
 Registered Early Childhood Educator qualification preferred; or diploma or degree in related field (social science,

teaching, CYW, CYC, Bachelor of Education etc)

 If Applicable; proof of current membership in the College of Early Childhood Educators

 The ability to work collaboratively with others to co-construct understandings and teaching strategies;

 Willingness to research and investigate new thinking about children’s learning;

 Commitment to building genuine partnerships with others that enable open and constructive conversations about

curriculum;

 Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child development

 Demonstrated experience working with children ages 0-18 months

 Demonstrated interest, knowledge and/or experience with Emergent Curriculum
