Dukon Construction Ltd. has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry where our team of professionals have successfully created custom-design hardscape for residential and commercial properties. We are hiring a full time, seasonal AZ driver to complete a variety of tasks mainly involving floating machines and hauling material to various projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all duties assigned by the Supervisor
- Comply with all MTO rules and regulations
- Safe operation and transport of heavy equipment including, excavators, dozers, rollers, skid steers, etc.
- Ability to drive a dump truck with a float
- Load and unload material to various projects
- General housekeeping duties
- Observe and report equipment and mechanical failures immediately
- Manage routes to proceed in the most efficient way
- Performs truck inspections and completes daily truck log
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner
- Comply with company safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Job Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience driving a tri-axle dump truck
- Must obtain a valid AZ licence with a clean abstract
- Posses 2 years experience in operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of load securement is required
- Moderate communication skills
- Ability to take direction
- Professionalism and excellent customer service skills
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically demanding
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, dust, noise, and cold
