Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant and food industry, with a focus on food preparation and safety. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, meats, etc.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and cooking instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and labeled according to health regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Participate in regular cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
