Job Requirement
The Quality Analyst III is a member of the quality team that performs quality related tasks in the MDA Business Process System. This role excludes tasks requiring a quality stamp (ie., inspections either internally or externally).
Must have completed courses in subjects related to manufacturing and quality techniques, applicable to aerospace and/or manufacturing industry. Works with minimum supervision.
Normal Duties
- Performs Process Confirmation Verifications, as scheduled by management or as the outcome of a Corrective Action Request.
- Participates in internal CARs – provides guidance on quality processes/practices and executes quality tasks.
- Support in audit preparation/creation of reports.
- EIDPs compilation may be required
- May initiate nonconformance. Support more senior classification in NCR tracking/reporting. Prepares Quality Level Charts detailing scrap rate, rejection rate and quality performance of manufacturing departments.
- May update business processes and training material (Quality)
- Support senior classification on data collection and analysis on quality assurance related mattersand prepare necessary reports for management.
- Monitors Approved Supplier List for pending expirations, and prepares charts/reports.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data and reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
- Must be able to follow process and identify gaps
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationship with other departments
Comments/Special Considerations:
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
