We are seeking reliable and hardworking Casual Labourers to assist with general cleanup, garbage removal, and renovation debris disposal at various work sites. This position is physically demanding and requires individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and remove garbage and renovation debris from work sites
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Move furniture, supplies, and construction materials as required (often from one site to another)
- Carry items up and down stairs safely
- Assist with site cleanup and organization
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
- Support team members with general labour tasks as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour for extended periods
- Ability to safely move materials up and down stairs
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites is an asset
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Punctual, dependable, and willing to follow instructions
- Knowledge of basic workplace safety practices
- Previous labour, construction, moving, or cleanup experience is an asset but not required
- Must have own work boots and gloves
- Ability to drive is an asset
