Position: Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care Assistant
- Hours: 30-40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist Veterinarians: Support our veterinarians during a variety of clinical and medical procedures.
- Animal Care: Ensure our patients are well-fed and hydrated throughout the day.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Sterilize equipment and keep examination areas tidy for optimal patient care.
- Handle Animals: Safely assist with animal handling during examinations and procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records for our boarding patients.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 1 year of animal care experience (preferred).
- Customer Service Skills: Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Work Ethic: Strong ability to work independently and a commitment to excellence.
- Multitasking Ability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent prioritization skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
Clinic Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9 AM - 7 PM
- Friday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours after 7 PM)
- Saturday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours after 2 PM)
- Sunday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours)
- Note: Emergency hours are subject to change.
