Hours of work: Tuesday or Wednesday to Saturday 9:15 a.m to 5:45 p.m.
Job Summary:
Seeking a candidate with a great positive attitude to join our valuable team. Responsible for preparing lunch and dinner daily for Seniors in an Assisted Living Environment. Menu is set and there are 2 seasonal rotations. Must be able to be flexible and adapt to changes.
Education and Experience:
Graduate from a recognized program in Cooking. Experience working in an Assisted Living environment or Health care facility an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of position.
- Ability to organize work
- Ability to operate related equipment.
Requirements:
- A current and clear Criminal Record check.
- Food safe 2 or willing to get.

Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
