Food Truck Manager / Sales & Operations
Location: Various locations — truck location may vary depending on events, bookings, and daily operations

Wage: $25/hour
Schedule: Flexible, including weekends
We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and self-motivated Food Truck Manager to oversee daily operations and help generate catering and event business.
Responsibilities
- Drive the food truck to different locations, events, and bookings
- Set up and close down the food truck
- Operate and manage the shift
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed properly and on time
- Prepare and serve food according to company standards
- Supervise, train, and manage employees
- Assign tasks and ensure employees stay productive
- Manage inventory, supplies, and ordering
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization
- Handle POS, cash, and daily sales reporting
- Monitor product quality and minimize waste
- Cold call businesses and organizations to generate catering leads
- Cold email potential customers and event organizers
- Follow up with leads and help secure catering/event bookings
- Represent the company professionally with customers and businesses
Manager Responsibilities
As a manager, you are expected to take ownership of the shift and get the job done without constant supervision.
- Complete assigned tasks during the shift
- Manage employees and resolve routine issues independently
- Stay organized and prioritize tasks
- Be reachable by phone when needed for operational matters
- Handle unexpected situations and make reasonable decisions
- Communicate important issues to the owner/management
- Ensure the truck is properly operated even when the owner is not present
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience in BC
- Valid BC driver's licence and clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a food truck
- Previous food-service, supervisory, or management experience is an asset
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and cold emailing
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Able to lift equipment and supplies
- Available to work weekends and flexible hours
- Reliable and punctual
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can drive, operate, manage, train, sell, and take responsibility for the entire shift.
This is a hands-on management position. The successful candidate should be able to identify what needs to be done, take initiative, and complete tasks without constant direction from the owner.
$25/hour | Minimum 5 years BC driving experience | Weekends required
