Seeking a hands-on Azure Architect to design, build, and deploy Azure Landing Zones (ALZ) and architect workloads on top. This is a build-focused role owning both platform foundation and workload deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy Azure Landing Zone using Terraform/Bicep
Set up Management Groups, Azure Policy & governance
Design Hub-Spoke / VWAN networking & Azure Firewall
Implement Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, security controls
Configure Monitoring (Log Analytics, Defender, Sentinel)
Architect workloads using AKS, App Services, Functions
Implement Private Endpoints, DNS, CI/CD pipelines
Perform Well-Architected reviews & documentation
Required Skills
Strong ALZ implementation experience (hands-on)
Terraform/Bicep (mandatory)
Azure Networking ( VWAN, Hub-Spoke, Firewall )
Azure DevOps / CI-CD
Security & Identity ( Entra ID, RBAC, PIM )
Qualifications
5+ years in Azure Cloud/Infrastructure
Certifications: AZ-104 / AZ-305 preferred
Experience in enterprise-scale environments
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
Compensation: we are offering an annual salary between $80,550-$125,000
