Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders, and providing recommendations on drinks and menu items.
- Manage cash handling transactions with precision, VLT knowledge is an asset but not necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by delivering excellent customer service throughout each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not necessary
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly personality with strong communication skills.
Pay: $15.35 per hour
