Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food handling, and customer service within a fast-paced food industry environment. Prior restaurant experience is required. The position involves working in a team-oriented setting where attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.
Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food, beverages, and alcoholic beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Understand and memorize menu to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Provide attentive guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to deliver timely service without compromising quality
- Must be able to work on weekends and evenings
Skills
- Experience with POS systems
- Must have smart serve certificate
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling products
- Restaurant or food industry experience is mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality standards is a plus
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
- A positive attitude with a focus on teamwork, guest services, and hospitality excellence
Pay: $17.60 per hour
