Job Summary
The Press Gang Restaurant and Oyster Bar is seeking energetic and dependable Food Service Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment while helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and serving activities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and service areas
- Restock food items, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process transactions accurately
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational duties
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Address guest requests and concerns professionally
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Previous food service, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
