Not all Class 1 driving happens on pavement.
Bizi Transport is looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers who are comfortable where the pavement ends.
Our drivers operate Super B combinations throughout Western Canada and beyond, hauling specialized commodities including frac sand, sulphur, chemicals, and cryogenics. Much of our work takes place in oilfield and industrial environments where road conditions, weather, terrain, and access can change quickly.
We're looking for drivers who already understand what that kind of work requires. If you have strong off-road, oilfield, lease road, logging road, or similar heavy-haul experience, we'd like to hear from you.
We operate a modern fleet, maintain our equipment in-house, and support our drivers with experienced dispatchers who understand the realities of the work.
What You'll Do
- Operate Super B combinations in oilfield and industrial environments
- Travel on lease roads, resource roads, and other challenging off-highway routes
- Haul specialized commodities throughout Western Canada and beyond
- Safely navigate changing road, weather, and site conditions
- Chain up and operate in winter, mud, steep grades, and difficult terrain as required
- Load, unload, secure, and inspect equipment
- Communicate effectively on resource roads and at customer sites
- Complete electronic documentation using mobile applications
- Represent Bizi Transport professionally at customer locations
What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in experienced drivers who are already comfortable with off-road oilfield work and don't need to be introduced to the realities of operating heavy equipment in remote environments.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Minimum 3 years of Class 1 driving experience
- Previous off-road, oilfield, lease road, logging road, or comparable heavy-truck experience
- Super B experience
- Experience chaining up and driving in difficult winter conditions
- Reasonable and current 5-year driver's abstract
- Valid First Aid and H2S Alive certification, or ability to acquire before work begins
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and rotational schedules
- Physically capable of climbing, securing loads, chaining up, and working outdoors year-round
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications in a paperless environment
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and reliability

- Calling kilometres on radio-controlled roads

- Mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge

Additional Information
- This is mostly a live-in truck position
- Drivers may be required to complete resets on the road
- Work includes remote and off-highway locations
- Successful applicants must pass all employment requirements, including a road test and full pre-employment medical testing
Why Bizi Transport?
