The Hatch Winery is hiring Tasting Room Associates forth rest our 2026 season. We are looking to curate a group of dedicated, likeminded, high-energy juice slingers for this wonderful Spring/Summer season. As the first location under the Jason Parkes Customs brand, we have always been a ‘hatching’ point for wine lovers from all walks of life. A big part of working in our tasting rooms is being able to make lasting impressions on customers with good vibes & well thought out stories. Think of the hatch as your local neighborhood pub but with no sticky carpets or crushed peanut shells! Through the hatch, you will be grandfathered into being a brand ambassador for JPC, swiftly catapulting you into a world of mysticism & well-planned chaos. Job Description:
- Focus on driving sales
- Greet and welcome guests
- Manage multiple groups at a time
- Promoting Wine Club
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the wines, stories, art, and vineyards
- Confidently make recommendations for guests who are purchasing wine
- Provide exceptional, personalized tastings to all groups
- Assist with controlling crowds and managing bookings
- Assist in daily Tasting Room tasks (End of Day Samples, Point of Sale, open/closing duties)
- Work with the entire team to create a cooperative, helpful, and inclusive work environment
Job Requirements:
- Serving it Right Certificate
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods
- Experience in hospitality
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Eager to learn and grow
- Willingness to work in outdoor settings in the summer heat
Non-Required but Preferred Assets:
- Tasting Room Experience
- Wine Training/Education (WSET, ISG, College Programs, etc.)
