The Opportunity:
EMBERS Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Labourer to support our client's warehouse operations in Richmond, BC. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse flow and ensuring inventory is sorted correctly. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
This is a Full Time and ongoing position.
Job Duties:
- Load and unload parcels from trucks and conveyor systems safely and efficiently.
- Sort, scan, and organize packages by destination postal codes and route.
- Maintain consistent accuracy and attention to detail during sorting and processing.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Perform additional general labour duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, high-volume warehouse setting.
- Experience using inventory systems
- Ability to speak Mandarin at a conversational level is required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance.
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse, logistics, or general labour experience
- Steel toe boots and high visibility vest required
