What You’ll Be Doing as the Controller
- Financial Leadership: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure financial stability.
- Cost Accounting: Develop and implement cost accounting models and financial analysis based on performance.
- Compliance & Reporting: Mitigate risks while managing the financial requirements, including payroll and tax compliance.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Deliberate Collaboration: Partner with executives to drive business growth and achieve financial goals.
About You as the Controller
- Strategic Thinker: You have a proven ability to craft and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP system implementations, particularly MD Dynamics GP, and strong Excel skills are an asset.
- Related Experience: Proven experience in cost accounting and inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Cultural Fit: You are a creative problem-solver with a championship mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and growth.
