Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and support various construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasks to ensure smooth project execution. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of building projects. Candidates should be reliable, physically capable, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site cleanup, loading, and unloading of materials and equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and supplies
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and organizing materials
- Remove building finishings, scrape concrete and perform other manual tasks as directed
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
- Assist with the installation of structures, framing, or other construction components as needed
- Ensure work areas are maintained clean and organized throughout the project
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions; Ability to lift 50lbs
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is a plus
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for consistent attendance at job sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
