Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer with room to grow to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and horticulture. This role involves various tasks related to gardening, irrigation, and construction, requiring both physical stamina and mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Utilize late model excavators with rototilt and skid steers for site preparation and earth-moving activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping designs and plans efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment after use.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Perform minor/as needed landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming to help out
- Building of patios, garden spaces, mulching, clean-ups, retaining walls and other outdoors spaces
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment related to landscape maintenance is essential.
- Ability to operate excavators, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and landscape design principles is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration on projects.
