Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE (Early Childhood Education) Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and a background or interest in early childhood education. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in classroom settings, contribute to children's growth, and collaborate with experienced educators.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities aligned with early childhood curriculum standards.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through engaging interactions and positive reinforcement.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times.
- Help facilitate learning experiences that incorporate basic math concepts and other foundational skills.
- Work closely with children, including those with disabilities or special needs, to promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including preparing materials and assisting with classroom setup.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support ongoing development and address individual needs.
- Support the implementation of behavior management strategies that foster positive behavior and social skills.
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience or working with children is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for early childhood education is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and basic math concepts is advantageous.
- Ability to work well with individuals with disabilities or special needs, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young children's growth in a nurturing environment.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
