Nina’s is a brand-new Irish-owned brunch restaurant open in Kensington Market — a cozy, vibrant space focused on Ontario produce, Irish-inspired dishes, homemade products and friendly, unforgettable service.
We’re looking for a Barista + Server All-Rounder to join our small but mighty opening team. You’ll need experience making high-quality specialty coffees and feel just as comfortable jumping on the floor to serve guests, run food, take orders, and lend a hand wherever it’s needed.
This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is excited to help shape the vibe and flow of a brand-new business.
What You’ll Do:
- Make consistent, delicious espresso-based drinks and specialty coffees
- Set up and maintain a clean, well-organized coffee station
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, clear tables, and assist customers
- Help create smooth service by communicating closely with the kitchen and operator
- Assist with opening/closing duties, stock rotation, and general upkeep
- Be a flexible, friendly team player willing to step in wherever needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a barista and in a front-of-house role (café, brunch spot, or restaurant)
- Confident with espresso machines, milk texturing, and customer service
- A can-do attitude — someone who is happy to jump into any task
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Friendly, reliable, and excited to help build something meaningful
- Available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday mandatory). Business Operates Thursday - Monday.
