CHAITONS LLP is currently recruiting for a Residential Lending Real Estate Law Clerk to join our busy real estate department. This is a permanent, full-time position offering full health, dental and disability benefits upon successful completion of a three month probationary period. Potential opportunity for this position to become Hybrid/Remote.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a high volume of residential mortgage transactions from beginning to end;
- Preparation of all required documentation;
- Communicating in a professional manner with our lender clients, lawyers and other third parties;
- Ability to manage a large workload volume and problem solving with minimal supervision;
- Meeting strict deadlines with excellent multi-tasking skills;
- Preparing reporting letters to clients.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 2 years residential real estate experience;
· Ability to work independently;
· Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institution;
· Strong technical skills with proficiency in Teraview, Conveyancer and MS Office applications;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
