The Opportunity:
We’re seeking reliable and energetic Production & Packaging Assistants to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to be part of a team that helps bring healthy, great-tasting products to shelves across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production and packaging of snack and dry food products
- Set up, clean, and operate packaging machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety protocols in all work areas
- Accurately follow production schedules and instructions
- Complete quality checks on packaging and labelling
- Lift and move materials up to 25 kg as needed
- Support team members to ensure daily production goals are met
- Fast to pack
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food production or packaging is an asset (but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Must bring clean work shoes and pants daily
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage: $18.50/hour during 2-week probation/training period
- Opportunity for wage increase based on performance
- Paid breaks (2 x 10 minutes daily) + 30-minute unpaid lunch
