Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to support the company's financial health and compliance. The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in account reconciliation, bank statement analysis, and budgeting activities, contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to maintain accurate financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure consistency across financial statements
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
- Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports
- Maintain organized files of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or comparable platforms
- Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Experience with payroll processing is preferred
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and budgeting tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $52,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
