Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Guard to join our mobile security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facilities and clients. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance techniques, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents that may arise.
Duties:
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner.
Provide assistance to employees as needed while enforcing facility rules and regulations.
Participate in ongoing training programs related to loss prevention and surveillance techniques.
Provide training to guards as well as ensure proper protocols are followed when on shifts by all guards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or activities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
A valid driver's G license and 3 years minimum experience in Ontario required.
A clean drivers abstract is a MUST and will be requested upon offer acceptance.
