Job Summary
Are you looking for a couple of shifts a week. Are you able to commit to Sunday and Monday evening shifts. We are seeking a mature, dependable, Ride-On Scrubber Operator/Building Cleaner to maintain cleanliness of the floors in a shopping mall environment. Training will be provided. This role involves operating specialized cleaning equipment to ensure floors and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on efficient and effective cleaning practices.
Duties
- Operate ride-on scrubbers to clean large floor areas in shopping mall setting
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on cleaning equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any repairs needed
- Follow established safety procedures during operation of machinery and handling of cleaning chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to commit to Sunday and Monday evening shifts.
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and basic maintenance procedures.
- Training with an experienced operator will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
