Job Description
Sunset Dental Clinic is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our existing practice located at Spadina Avenue and Richmond Street. Our modern offices are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated, organized, and knowledgeable Dental Assistant.
The successful candidate must be a certified Dental Assistant, able to work independently, and be a strong team player. Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English and Tagalog languages are essential.
Shifts are Wednesday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are happy to provide training opportunities for successful candidates, including new graduates and those who have recently completed their clinical placement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care education.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
