You are a one of a kind Technical Sales Representative with experience in generating and qualifying new leads, and developing those leads. You build solid relationships with all stakeholders and customers see you as a partner in their business. About the Role:
- Identify and grow new and existing clients in the Northern Alberta market as well as well as support ongoing sales efforts throughout all of Alberta.
- Identify business opportunities and proactively approach clients to inform and educate them on the company’s products.
- Develop annual sales territory and account plans to achieve assigned targets.
- Determine customer’s needs by demonstrating knowledge of the industry, pricing, and competition.
- Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospective customers and current clients.
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Meet booking targets, pipeline management and key account management goals.
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Assist in creating proposals and quotes where required.
- Frequent travel to conduct meetings with clients and prospective clients; attend tradeshows, exhibitions, conferences, etc.
Required Experience:
- Post-secondary education in the mechanical or engineering fields.
- 5 years of sales experience, selling pumps
- B2B experience selling industrial products and solutions.
- Experience with pumps, electric motors and related process equipment
- Experience in ground water, industrial, commercial and municipal industries is an asset.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
