Join our team and grow your career with us as a Warehouse Technician - LCF (Large Container Fill) at our North West Edmonton warehouse. Enjoy competitive wages and benefits and growth opportunities.
We look to our LCF team member to:
- Fill pails and drums with product one moment and the next be required to assist with the physical labour of unloading a drum or pail trailer. You will be trained on multiple pieces of equipment and once comfortable, you will rotate through the machines leading to more diversity in your day
- Be responsible for connecting hoses to the manifold, working with touch screen computer systems on the fill equipment and operating a forklift to place product is assigned racking in the warehouse
- Focused, have extremely high attention-to-detail; comfortable with taking directions and/or change in direction of daily tasks
- Familiar with various computer tools and software
- Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift
- Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling
- Maintain quality in the warehouse and keep track of all damaged inventory and report the same to the supervising authorities
- Pack, label and tag all of the inventory in the warehouse
- Work in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse
- Daily process and assembly of customer’s orders
- Data entry and assistance with preparation of inventory
Qualifications
- 1-3 years related experience
- Forklift experience on a sit-down counterbalance and stand up reach an asset
- Production Line experience an asset
- Ability to load and unload 53-foot trailers with a forklift and the ability to load flat decks with a forklift an asset
- Forklift license an asset
- SAP experience an asset
- Attention-to-detail is key
- Experience with transfer pumps considered an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and strong team player
- Ability to multitask
- Excel under high pressure situations; flexible and ability to take direction well
- Basic computer skills
