Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Entrée / Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Head Chef to prepare high-quality Italian dishes, with a focus on the grill and entrée station.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in consistent execution, enjoys working with fresh ingredients, and thrives in a structured, team-oriented kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook items at the entrée and grill stations
- Cook proteins, seafood, pasta, risotto, and composed dishes
- Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards consistently
- Assist with daily prep and seasonal menu execution
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety procedures
- Support smooth service through communication and teamwork
Requirements
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience in a restaurant setting
- Experience on grill or hot line is an asset
- Interest in Italian cuisine and culinary development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
