Position: Warehouse Associate – Shipping Coordinator
Location: Edmonton, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (½ hour unpaid break)
Contract: Immediate start – End of September (with strong possibility of extension)
About the Role
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate – Shipping Coordinator to support a fast-paced logistics team with day-to-day shipping and receiving operations. This role is ideal for someone with recent, hands-on warehouse experience, who thrives in a physically active and detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately and on time
Receive, unpack, and verify incoming materials
Ensure correct labelling and documentation of goods
Coordinate with couriers and tender shipments (especially Mon–Wed evenings)
Maintain organized and safe work areas
Use warehouse systems and scanners as required
Perform regular lifting, box handling, and general warehouse tasks
Requirements
At least 1 year of recent PAID experience in a Canadian warehouse
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in a cold environment and on your feet for long periods
Steel-toed safety shoes/boots required
Strong attention to detail, time management, and reliability
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Work Conditions
Physical work: standing, walking, lifting
Team may occasionally stay slightly late (until ~5:00 PM Mon–Wed) to meet courier deadlines
