Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. This role is essential in providing a safe and hygienic environment for employees and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with an understanding of proper usage and safety precautions.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $15.30-$17.00 per hour
