Position: School Age Specialist (Before and After Care)
Shift: Full Time (Split Shift)
Hours: 25 hours a week
Location: Our Lady of Mount Carmel (1624 Centre Road, Carlisle ON)
Rate of Pay: $25.64-$28.56/hr
Benefit: Additional 50.00 a pay cheque for travel expenses

Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Recreation and Leisure or Child and Youth Care
- Standard First aid/CPR level C certification
- Vulnerable sector check and police check (done in the last 6 months)Record of up to date Immunization (TB Test, Tetanus, Polio, MMR)
- Experience working with children from 4-12 years of age in a child care setting
Role of School Age Specialist/Float
- Create warm, welcoming environments before and after school for the children
- Engage in rich learning experiences and co-learning with children
- Engage in outdoor activities to help children explore the natural world
- Help children to navigate their world through play and plan experiences based on their interests
- Build professional relationships with children, families and other educators
- Document the children’s learning
