Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant with fulltime availability, to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a positive attitude are highly valued. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. English speaking will be required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas are maintained in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks in public areas or other designated spaces as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and team members
Skills
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to handle industrial cleaning equipment safely when necessary
- Prior hotel or custodial experience is considered an asset but not essential; willingness to learn is key
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
