We are looking for a Site Supervisor who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and can confidently coordinate trades, inspections, scheduling, and site operations from start to finish.
This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and keeping projects moving forward.
Responsibilities
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing daily site operations
- Coordinating and scheduling trades
- Maintaining project schedules and milestones
- Booking and coordinating inspections
- Monitoring quality throughout all phases of construction
- Managing deficiencies and ensuring corrective action is completed
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Coordinating material deliveries and site logistics
- Completing daily site reports and photo documentation
- Communicating project updates, risks, and delays to management
- Responding professionally to homeowners, neighbours, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Identifying potential project delays before they become problems
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Has previous residential construction supervision experience
- Understands residential construction from foundation to final completion
- Can read plans and construction drawings
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Can manage multiple trades simultaneously
- Has strong communication and leadership skills
- Is comfortable making day-to-day site decisions
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Understands construction safety requirements
- Is proactive rather than reactive
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills
- Residential construction experience
- Trade coordination and scheduling
- Quality control and deficiency management
- Inspection coordination
- Problem solving and conflict resolution
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, project management software)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Must have your own truck)
