Pharmacy Assistant
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team!
This is a Full-time position at our Pure Integrative Pharmacy West 4th location. The candidate must have a flexible working schedule covering the Pharmacy's business hours (Monday-Saturday).
Experience working in a pharmacy is required. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must! Previous experience with Kroll and compounding would be considered an asset.
Successful candidates who progress beyond the interview stage will be required to complete an in-person trial shift. This trial is designed to assess practical working experience, familiarity with Kroll, and proficiency in standard pharmacy assistant tasks.
Perform pharmacy assistant duties, including, but not limited to are:
- Customer Care - answering calls, attending to customer needs, etc.
- Process, prepare, and compound prescriptions
- Maintain prescription and inventory record keeping systems using Kroll
- Maintain proper drug storage and security
- Prepare and settle third party insurance claims and records
- Other pharmacy assistant duties as per pharmacist requirements
