Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial and comercial electrical systems, with a strong ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, including renovation and construction sites. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and systems in industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Perform maintenance on low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Assist in renovation projects by updating or upgrading existing electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to coordinate electrical work seamlessly.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
Experience
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and power tools.
- Familiarity with construction environments, renovation projects, and handyman tasks is preferred.
- Prior experience working with schematics and troubleshooting complex electrical issues is highly desirable.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as a Journeyman/woman is required. This position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour
