About Agrisan
Agrisan Specialty Chemical and Pharmaceutical, located in Arthur, Ontario, is an essential service manufacturer of specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals. This role provides hands-on support to production and container recycle operations through filling, labelling, packaging, and processing returned containers, contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Support the container recycle program by processing returned containers, including washing, rinsing, sleeving, and labelling for reuse.
- Assist with product filling, labelling, boxing, and packaging to support daily production requirements.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by stacking and loading materials onto skids.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by cleaning equipment and the immediate workspace throughout the shift.
- Follow standard operating procedures, and workplace safety requirements in all tasks.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection where applicable.
- Support powder production activities, including operating the powder mixer, bagging and boxing product, and staging components.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete production tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Capable of reaching, lifting (50 lb) and working from a platform.
- Works cooperatively in teams communicates clearly and has effective listening skills.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required.
This is a part-time, contract role. Anticipated hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
